Principal Solicitor

Amena Haque

Mrs Amena Haque is the Principal Solicitor at the firm. She has over 17 years of PQE and 21 years of experience in legal field. She was qualified as a Solicitor in 2006 and has extensive experience in Immigration Law, in both personal and business immigration, nationality, human rights, and judicial review matters. She is also specialising in family law, including divorce, financial relief, child contact and domestic violence matter.

Prior to starting WhiteBridge Solicitors, Amena was a partner in a popular high street firm. She oversaw the Family, Immigration, Wills and Probate, and Debt Management departments. She gained a wealth of experience and maintained a busy practise. Amena is well-versed and is an expert in all areas of law practised at this firm. She has regularly and successfully applied her knowledge of immigration law, in family law and vice versa.

Amena is a mediator and has applied her skills when helping her clients. Her clients have come to her after enduring disheartening decisions made by the Home Office. As a result, she has found alternative solutions to successfully obtain positive decisions for her clients.

Amena is very popular among her clients and has built strong working relationships with them. She is known for putting her clients first and working hard for their interests. Amongst complex and emotionally demanding cases, she displayed the ability to ensure her clients matters are well adhered to.

She provides robust and realistic advice which her clients respect and appreciate. She also has extensive experience in working with clients with reduced capacity, disabilities, and backgrounds. She has ensured her advice is always tailored to the specific needs of her clients.

Amena is always a phone call away when it comes to her clients, however, to unwind she spends time with family and friends and enjoys hosting. She enjoys the outdoors and travelling to new places. Apart from the law, she takes a keen interest in Islamic studies and spends time learning and exploring.

Amena was also called to the Bar in 2002 and he qualified as a Barrister. She was Vice- President of The Society of British Bangladeshi Solicitors [The SBBS], the only organisation which represents solicitors in England and Wales of Bangladeshi Origin.

Ehsan Haque

Ehsan is an accomplished Solicitor with 18 years of PQE in Partner level. Qualified as a Solicitor in 2005 and has extensive experience in Immigration Law and in particular Business Immigration. His expertise also includes Residential and Commercial Conveyancing, Civil Litigation and Residential and Commercial Possession Disputes.

Ehsan has joined our Team as a Consultant Solicitor and looks after our corporate side of Immigration Clients. He also works at Taylor Rose MW as a Consultant Solicitor for Residential and Commercial Conveyancing. Ehsan has been adeptly managing large caseloads with expert legal strategy for consistent client satisfaction.

Fateema Rimi

Fateema worked at a high street solicitors practice for 8 years. She has vast knowledge and practical experience in individual and corporate immigration and family matters.

Fateema has acted for a variety of clients ranging from private individuals, limited companies, and families with children. She provides amiable services and takes realistic approach to all matters. She takes particular care to give appropriate legal advice to clients about their specific needs. Fateema qualified as a Solicitor in November 2016 and joined WhiteBridge Solicitors in April 2022.

Fazle Elahi

Fazle Elahi is a consultant solicitor in the firm’s Immigration Department. Fazle specialises in both business and personal immigration, nationality, human rights, and judicial review matters.
Relevant experience
Fazle previously worked for several firms of solicitors, including a Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners ranked firm, based in London since 2010.

He is highly experienced in dealing with skilled worker applications and sponsorship licensing applications for various sectors including IT, restaurant and fast-food chains, supermarkets, engineering, event management, pharmacy and care home industries.
He has extensive experience in dealing with complex human rights applications, EU migration including EUSS Family Permit and Settled Status applications, family migration including spouse and child applications, settlement applications, naturalisation and registration applications, visit visa applications including business and permitted paid engagement applications, administrative reviews challenging the refusal decisions, deportation and complex immigration appeals, pre-action protocols and judicial review matters.

Fazle places significant importance on having excellent client care skills and finds that taking a friendly and professional approach to his clients is the key to successfully representing them.

Fazle volunteers at East Greenwich Legal Advice Clinic (EGLAC) as an Immigration Solicitor and at Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre (QMLAC) as a Supervising Solicitor for their Immigration Project.
